【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversathermoplasticjacketingcompoundfor2to35kVwireandcable,ofatleast0.030in.(0.76mm)nominalthickness,consistingsubstantiallyofpigmentedpolyethylene.1.2Inmanyinstancesthejacketmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsdoneonjacketedwireandcableinthisspecificationaresolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyofthejacketmaterialandnottotestthejacketedconductororcompletedcable.1.3Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.
