【摘要】:Thispracticeisintendedasareferenceforspectrochemicalmethodsthatutilizenongraphiteelectrodes.Oneoftheelectrodeshapesinthispracticeshouldbeemployedandreferencedinamethod.Ifthisisnotpossible,themethodshouldincludethespecificationsfortheelectrodeused.ThispracticeshouldbereferencedinamethodbyincludingastatementsuchasthefollowinginthesectiononReagentsandMaterials:CounterElectrodex2014;TheelectrodeshallconformtoType(inserttheTypedesignationfromthispractice)asshowninPracticeE1059.1.1Thispracticedescribesanumberofspecificnongraphitecounterelectrodeshapesandsizesthatareusefulinspectrochemicalanalysis.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
